Arkansas Hardship License

In accordance with AR ST § 5-65-120(a) and AR ST § 27-16-915, which applies to DUI suspensions, Arkansas issues restricted licenses upon a showing that the suspension of the applicant’s license has caused an extreme and unusual hardship and that driving is required for work, education, medical treatment, or to attend an approved Alcohol Safety Education and Treatment Program. Hardship relief is not available to those who are serving license suspensions for second or subsequent violations.
